MINISO Reached Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Uzbekistan, Bringing Intelligent Consumer Products to Central Asia
On August 11, 2017, Japan-based designer brand MINISO signed the strategic cooperation agreement with Uzbekistan officially. Mr. Ye Guofu, MINISO’s global co-founder and CEO, the representatives of Uzbekistan and some local renowned retailers attended the signing ceremony.

After reaching strategic cooperation agreements with Russia, Kazakhstan, Georgia, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey and Serbia, the cooperation between MINISO and Uzbekistan shows this brand has given full play to supporting the Belt and Road Initiatives. At the signing ceremony, the spokesman of MINISO expressed that, in order to carry out the policies of "going out" and the "Belt and Road", MINISO has been investigating the international market since the beginning of this year, and has successfully reached cooperation agreements with a number of countries following the routes of “the Belt and Road Initiative” of China. The cooperation between MINISO and Uzbekistan not only can bring high-quality intelligent consumer products to local consumers, but it is also a significant step for MINISO to expand in the Central Asia market, laying a solid foundation for developing in the countries following route of “the Belt and Road Initiative”.
Located in Central Asia, Uzbekistan is a landlocked country with a superior geographical location.
